How do I dectect what version of exchange server has been installed in the Domain?

Dear all,

I am writing an administrative website for my company for managing AD and exchange servers.

I have no idea of how do I determine if the Active directory has been installed with exchange server and which version of exchange has been installed.

Pls help...

what about using C# to query AD to check the build number?
