    Error - Event ID 9690

Does anyone know how to solve this error? I can only think of restarting the server every morning.

Exchange store 'First Storage Group\Mailbox Store (Name Of Exchange Server)': The logical size of this database (the logical size equals the physical size of the .edb file and the .stm file minus the logical free space in each) is 18 GB. This database size has exceeded the size limit of 18 GB.

This database will be dismounted immediately.

    Hi khhc,
I believe you use Exchange 2003 standard edition. with SP2, it will increase to 75G but the default setting is only 18GB.. You must tune the registry.

Follow the link to solve your issue: http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Explaining-Database-size-limit-changes-Exchange-2003-Service-Pack-2.html

I did not increase the capacity yet as I want to learn how to do it and I do not want to screw it up, therefore I have set the exchange server to restart at 6am everyday.
