Stop log recording of Facebook on Firewall

    Hi! guys,

Management wants to look at the logs from the Cyberoam CR100i Firewall. But it was not enabled.

Now it is turned on, is there anyway I can prevent logs from Facebook from being shown?

I have tried blocking the log registering via IP Address 69.63.181.11 but it does not work as the IP Address keeps changing which I heard from one of the Cyberoam engineers.

I tried to block it from the LAN side but if the users go to other links within Facebook, it will be shown still.

Is there any method so that if anyone goes Facebook, it will not be shown in the firewall logs?

Set a filter on your syslog server.

I am sorry but how do I put a filter at the syslog server?

I'm confused. Are you trying to block access to Facebook or are you trying to filter Facebook entries from appearing on your syslog?

If you want to want to block access to Facebook, the easiest would be to make use of the content filtering capabilities of your Cyberoam appliance. If, however, you are trying to do the second option, you should do what Bernard has suggested (putting a filter on your syslog server).
